In April, 1996 New Horizon Consultants (NHC) was formed to satisfy the immediate needs of a few financial consultants who needed competent reliable service and consulting for their small office network. Over the next 3 years NHC’s reputation quickly spread among other brokers, which led to outside referrals and a larger customer base. NHC customer base is professional (i.e. law firms, financial consultants and private industry.) Among these are 18 financial groups, five major law firms in Memphis and one in Mississippi. NHC’s main focus has been customer service, 100% up time for customer networks and computers, state of the art technology, consulting, and customer specific software/hardware configurations and implementation.
We have been in business since 1996 under the name of New Horizon Consultants. Our main focus was computer service and repair. In May, 1999 we changed our name to People First Communications. We felt the name change better personified our mission and dedication to our customer base.
In November, 2006 we became a Federal Contractor and began providing a higher level of professional services that include pursuing government contracts, B2B training/consulting, investments and technical projects. It was time to grow by increasing the type and level of services we provide.
We also design and setup wireless Internet/Lan services for businesses.
We provide training for those interested in learning how to install and repair computers. Our goal is to teach ad help others attain their goals. We also provide consulting for telephone systems, telecommunications solutions and installation of the same, DVR’s and installations, Cat5e, Fiber and Cat6 cabling. Our goal here is to provide customers with a total package, from computers to telephones to cabling. We also work with three local internet service providers (ISP’s) and local exchange carriers (LEC’s).
